This event will take place online. Join us in a discussion with award winning comic book writer and artist, Derek Kirk Kim, as we talk about his comic book career and his latest book,  The Last Mermaid, Book 1!

While it is not necessary for participation, feel free to put Derek's books on hold with your library card

 

Author Bios

Derek Kirk Kim is known for illustrating The Eternal Smile: Three Stories—a collaboration with Gene Luen Yang, and was a director of Disney’s Amphibia, lead character designer of Adventure Time, and writer/artist of Same Difference & Other Stories. His most recent work with Image Comics is The Last Mermaid and the upcoming Royals.
