family friendly! With 35 plus years as a Career Visual and Teaching Artist Aleathia intentionally provides a safe space for
Non-Artists and Creative's to experience Art making. Participants walk away lighter, stressless and
Proud-filled from their creations. Coloring promotes a mindful balance activating the brain while stress-
melting. As a Teaching Artist Aleathia utilizes Her skills and experiences to entice participants to engage
in the act of coloring in layers. Ms. Brown a color expert uses varied hues, textures and patterns to tell a
visual story. Through demonstration the application of technique is very impactful allowing Participants
on varied skill levels to use their imagination. Aleathia welcomes patrons to unpack outer distractions
and make a playdate spending time immersed in this 90 minute session sharing Adinkra and
Underground Railroad symbols, colored pencils, ink pens and torn pages with historically relevant
