Book discussion program will take place in-person at the Tottenville Library. No registration is required. 

 

Synopsis:
This historical fiction novel set in 1960 tells the remarkable tale of three brave women, the Maribel sisters, who were murdered by the Trujillo dictatorship for their role in the underground movement to conspire a plot to overthrow the government in the Dominican Republic.

1. To reserve your copy, please click on the reading format you prefer:

  • Book: Place a hold on the item and designate one of our 92 locations for the next available copy to be sent to. You will be notified when it is available for pick up. 
     
  • eBook: Can be downloaded using the Libby Overdrive or SimplyE apps. If a waitlist exists, please place a hold, and you will be notified when the e-book is available for download.

Note: Tottenville Library will have a limited number of physical copies available for check-out. Please ask library staff at the service desk for a copy of the book.  First come, first served.
