Event Details

Come to the inaugural poetry discussion group at Webster Library! Read, listen to, and respond to the poems of insiders and rebels, outlaws and classicists, modernists and experimentalists!  In this first meeting, we will read and respond to poems from the so-called “confessional” poets:  Sexton, Plath, Berryman, and Lowell. All that is required of participants is an enthusiasm for poetry. This is not an English class! All views are welcome. We simply listen, react, and discuss.

Assistive Listening and ASL
ASL interpretation and real-time (CART) captioning available upon request. Please submit your request at least two weeks in advance by emailing accessibility@nypl.org.
