This program will be presented in-person at the Tompkins Square Library.

The Tompkins Square Library continues its year-long celebration of the history and culture of the East Village and Lower East Side with this very special presentation by Ada Calhoun, author of the highly acclaimed book, St. Marks is Dead.  Ada will present a slide talk that explores the history of the famous East Village street that inspired her book: St. Marks Place (a.k.a. East 8th Street).  There also will be a Q&A session at the end. Registration is required by using the registration link above.
