The annual Halloween costume parade with Tim Gunn returns for the first time in three years! Join us for it on the SNFL terrace, plus drinks, crafts, and more.

Ring in the spooky season at NYPL. Show us your best literary look—inspired by a book, poem, character, or writer. Our judges—fashion mentor Tim Gunn and NYPL librarians—are experts in fashion and literature. Come prepared! They’ll decide who wears it best. With music by DJ Carol C.

Registered attendees may us at any point between 5:30-7:30 PM. The costume parade will begin at around 6:15 PM.

This event is now fully registered. Please note that for free events, we overbook to ensure a full house. Priority will be given to those who have registered in advance, but registration does not guarantee admission. A standby line will form prior to the event for first-come-first served admission, if space allows.


ABOUT

Tim Gunn, beloved pop culture icon and New York Times bestselling author, is best known as the Emmy Award–winning host of Project Runway. He also hosted two seasons of his own Bravo makeover series, Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style, and was the host of the reality TV series Under the Gunn. He currently hosts Making The Cut with Heidi Klum on Amazon.

DJ Carol C was born and raised in New York City. Her DJ sets are as diverse and eclectic as the city she calls home. She has DJ’ed special events for clients such as Calvin Klein, Diane Von Furstenberg, Levi’s, and Sephora to name a few. She also created original music for Project Runway Season 4. She has performed for crowds all over the U.S. as well as in London, Vienna, Reykjavik, Copenhagen, Toronto, Montreal, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, Venezuela, and Brazil.
