Celebrate the start of summer with a Collection Open House that brings together the nature and beauty of parks and gardens. Dig It! The Art of Landscape Gardening  explores the rich history of American landscape design while focusing on artistic inspirations and architectural elements as represented in Western and Eastern gardens. 

Curators and librarians will be on hand to answer questions.

Each month we select fascinating items from the collections that illuminate our shared history and culture. Expert staff discuss why we find these materials so compelling; we welcome everyone to join in the conversation.
