Inspired by musicians who experimented with sound through feedback loops, Lou Reed incorporated drones into The Velvet Underground songs like “Heroin.” We pay tribute to the sound and inspiration of Lou Reed by hosting Lou Reed Drones, a performance installation by Stewart Hurwood of Lou Reed’s guitars and amps in feedback mode.

The Drones are just a part of the powerful legacy Lou Reed created for us. Join us in celebrating his legacy!
