From starring on Broadway in the original productions of Candide, The Music Man, and She Loves Me, to performing the popular American songbook in concerts and cabarets, Barbara Cook inspired many with her beautiful voice and engaging interpretations. Jenny Lynn Stewart traces Cook’s life in an afternoon of songs from the Kennedy Center Honoree’s career.
