Author Talks: Mid-Sentence | Bunny

Event Details

A trip down the rabbit hole of women's friendships and creative license.

BunnySamantha Heather Mackey is an outsider in her small, highly selective MFA program at New England’s Warren University. A scholarship student who prefers the company of her dark imagination to that of most people, she is repelled by the twee rich girls that make up her class—they all refer to each other as “Bunny.” When Samantha receives an invitation to their fabled “Smut Salon,” she finds herself inexplicably drawn to the sinister yet saccharine world of the Bunny cult.

Author Mona Awad will be in conversation with Laura Sims, poet and author of Looker.
