Exhibition Programs: Lou Reed Listening Room

Event Details

The newly opened Lou Reed Archive contains hours of unreleased and rare audio materials spanning the rock icon's creative live. For one day, the Library will transform its Vincent Astor Gallery into a listening room where visitors can hear an array of audio treasures from the Lou Reed Archive throughout the day. Stay for a brief time, or linger for a while. A special library card sign-up station will be available outside the gallery for visitors interested in getting a limited-edition Lou Reed New York Public Library card (while supplies last).
