Buster Keaton’s first starring feature for MGM, The Cameraman (1928), finds him as a timid New York City tintype photographer who becomes a newsreel man with some help from pretty Marceline Day and Josephine the monkey. Partially shot in NYC, there’s great footage of 5th Avenue and Yankee Stadium. Charlie Chaplin opens the show for Buster in Behind the Screen (1916) where Charlie has his own troubles with movie making.
