We're thrilled to welcome acclaimed writer Rivka Galchen for our spring Lenox and Astor Reading Group, where she will lead a discussion on Doris Lessing's "The Fifth Child." Ms. Galchen is the author of "Atmospheric Disturbances" and "American Innovations," and has been named a finalist for the Canadian Writers' Trust Fiction Prize, the Governor General's Award, and the Young Lions Fiction Award. She is a contributing editor at Harper's and has taught creative writing at Columbia. A former Cullman Fellow, her fiction and nonfiction have been published in The New Yorker and The New York Times.
