Hungarian Rhapsody

Event Details

The Geller-Anderson duo, Sarah E. Geller, violin and Wenhan Anderson, piano, present a recital, featuring Beethoven’s light and sparkling Sonata No. 8 in G Major. The program continues with two charming Lili Boulanger pieces plus the violin sonata by Claude Debussy, with tinges of gypsy flavor, and Dohnanyi' Sonata in c# minor. To close, none other than Ravel’s Tzigane, a quintessential gypsy display of fireworks.
