An evening of flamenco in all its forms: live performance, discussion and video. We will focus on the journey flamenco has made over the years to become the music, song and dance we know today. Accompanying the talks, will be performances by artists and winners of the New York State Certamen-Competition of 2014. Presented by Flamenco Vivo, Carlota Santana and the Center for Flamenco Arts.
The Library for the Performing Arts is proud to offer free admission to programs on a first come, first served basis. Admission lines form one hour prior to each program. At that time one ticket is provided per person. Tickets are not available for advance reservation and saving seats is not permitted. General admission seating.
