Maureen Corrigan, book critic for NPR's “Fresh Air” and author of Leave Me Alone, I'm Reading investigates the enduring power of this classic American novel in her latest book So We Read On:  How The Great Gatsby Came to Be and Why it Endures.

Ms. Corrigan, a professed Gatsby lover, will speak about her journey into archives, visits to high school classrooms, and exploration on the Long Island Sound to investigate and expose the novel's origins, social commentary and lasting allure. 

For $40 you will receive a ticket to the lecture and a boxed lunch. The boxed lunch will be provided at 12:30 p.m. The lecture will begin at 1:00 p.m.
