A group of 20 volunteers from the Senior Companion Program at the Henry Street Settlement visited The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts and the Beatles exhibition. Discussion in the collections tour focused on the Henry Street Settlement, and the importance of its components Neighborhood Playhouse and Abroms Arts Center to the performing arts. This program traines retired and senior citizens as volunteers to senion citizen programs around the city. We hope that this group will visit LPA exhibitions shortly after they open so that they can serve as links to their service programs.
