Dr. Isaac Gewirtz, Curator of the Library’s renowned Henry W. and Albert A. Berg Collection of English and American Literature, will present an illustrated lecture on how the relationship between creative pursuits and personal life, including attitudes towards privacy, shaped the Berg Collection. The unparalleled collection includes first and other rare editions, as well as the papers of more than 400 of the most notable authors and poets of the 19th and early 20th centuries.
