Schomburg Education presents a day-long teacher's seminar that examines Civil Rights activities in New York City with the goal of aiding educators teach the local footprint of the movement in the context of the national events. This event is presented as part of the Schomburg Center's yearlong commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of Landmark Events of the Civil Rights Movement from 1963-1964.
