Held in conjunction with the New York Map Society, this event will feature author and cartographer Chet van Duzer discussing Martin Waldseemüller's 1516 Carta Marina, specifically how Waldseemüller went about creating the map, offering a unique look into an early sixteenth-century cartographic workshop.
