LGBT: Why We Fight: Remembering AIDS Activism Panel


The national and international response to the HIV epidemic lagged behind the passionate work of dedicated individuals who tended the sick, challenged prejudices against people living with HIV, educated their communities, and fought for resources and research.  Please join us on Tuesday, October 1st, at 6:30 p.m. as a panel of activists and writers reflect on the evolution of AIDS activism and contemporary challenges of the HIV epidemic.

Why We Fight: Remembering AIDS Activism opens in the Sue and Edgar Wachenheim III Gallery in the Schwarzman Building on October 4, 2013 and runs through April 4, 2014.
