Gardening: Transplant basil, mint, anise hyssop, and lemon balm into the garden

Moving:  Learn to “meet” different mints and test each others knowledge by playing the “herb game”

Cooking: Make refreshing minty drinks

Garden of Happiness

Gardening: Direct seed carrots, beans, and other tasty veggies into the garden and make signs for

Moving: Take a sensory tour of the garden and play the “seed to flower” game

Cooking: Create a “seed to flower’ garden, including ingredients just planted in the garden

Soil Alive

Gardening: Amend the soil with compost and natural fertilizers and plant nitrogen fixing cover crops

Moving: Learn about decomposition and gently handle and examine worms

Creative: Make a worm and their underground ecosystem out of clay

Summer Flowers

Gardening: Transplant pollinator-attracting flowers in the garden

Moving: Learn about pollinators and then play pollinator tag

Cooking: Make a refreshing fruit, flower, and honey salad
