It’s a night of intrigue, inspired by the hottest new mysteries and classic whodunit on the shelves of the library. Bring your nicest noir outfit and check out the Teen Advisory Group projects, sign up for summer reading, earn your Anti-Prom badge, and see how you can get more involved with the library this summer. Investigate the inspiration for the garments created by teen designers for Design NYPL and try sketching your own outfit.

Major support for children’s and young adult programming is provided by the Mr. and Mrs. Timothy R. Barakett Endowment for Children’s and Young Adult Programs and Services.

This event will be videotaped and photos will be taken. By attending this event, you agree any videos / photos in which you appear may be used by the Library (on its website and on third-party websites).
Anti-Prom provides an alternative, safe space for all teens who may not feel welcome at official school programs or dances because of their sexual orientation, the way they dress, or any other reason.
