The Harlem Interfaith Commission for Housing Equality invites you to join us in an Open Public Forum to Stop Displacement

The Forum is to discuss legislative provisions to stop displacement and offer economic opportunity to low and moderate-income residents when public powers and rezoning increase land values of private and publicly-owned properties. Mayoral Candidates have been invited to express their view on these subjects and the audience is requested to ask questions.

Panelists include:
Imam Izak-EL Pasha, Masjid Malcolm Shabazz (116th Street Mosque)
Mindy Fullilove, MD, professor of psychiatry and public health at Columbia
Ronald Schiffman, professor at the Pratt Institute Center for Planning
Ms. Elsia Vasquez, tenant advocate and founder of P.A.'L.A.N.T.E. Harlem
 
Co-sponsors include religious and civic leaders, affordable housing advocates, community-based organizations and stakeholders.
