This is an opportunity for you to learn from experience what mindfulness is all about. It's one of those things people learn best by experience. Join us for a day of mindfulness, arriving around 10 am, getting plenty of instruction, trying out your first silent sit, followed by gentle stretching, another guided silent sit, then mindful walking, preparation for a meal in the community eaten in silence, a meditation on nurturing compassion, then a discussion of the day, ending by 2:30 pm. The day is designed for beginners as well as experienced meditators. We will sit in chairs or you can bring your own cushion. Taught by Donald Fleck DCSW.
