Romance Book Club

For April's meeting, we will be reading romances set in different parts of the country.

We'll check out some Amish romance in The Heart's Journey by Barbara Cameron. Naomi knows she should be excited about her upcoming wedding, but she remains unmoved. She believes her controlling fiancé may see her more as a servant than a partner. Is it too late to back out of the marriage? While praying for God's guidance, Naomi takes a break from her duties at the Stitches in Time craft shop and travels with her grandmother to Pincecraft, Florida. Along the way she finds herself attracted to Nick, their English driver and friend.

Big Sky Country by Linda Lael Miller takes us to a Montana. When he inherits half of a ranch, Sheriff Slade Barlow meets resistance from his half-brother Hutch, especially when Hutch's former flame, Josyln Kirk, who is working hard to make up for her stepfather's dishonesty, catches his eye.
