Event Details
An exploration of two hundred years of children's book illustration. We will examine notable editions of Alice in Wonderland and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Illustration techniques, social and religious concerns, humor and pathos will be examined through children’s books from colonial primers to the works of Maurice Sendak.
