Please join us on Wednesday, April 17 at 7 p.m. for a screening of Federico Fellini's The White Sheik (1952, 83 min) in the first floor corner room of Mid-Manhattan Library.

This film is part of the series Three Auteurs of World Cinema. All screenings are FREE and each program includes an introduction to the film as well as a guided discussion afterwards. Seating is first-come, first-served and doors open at 6:30 p.m.

The White Sheik (1952, 83 min) is Fellini's first film as a solo director. This romantic comedy is about Ivan Cavalli, played by Alberto Sordi, who brings his new bride to Rome for their honeymoon and presents her to his family while trying to gain an audience with the Pope. In Italian with English subtitles.
