Book Discussion @ Columbus Library - Major Pettigrew's Last Stand

Retired Major Ernest Pettigrew lives in the English countryside of Edgecombe, St. Mary.  He was leading a quiet life when as a result of his brother's death he develoved an unexpected friendship with Mrs. Jasmina Ali who is the village Pakistani shopkeeper.  Although their experiences and cultures are different, they found that they share in common the things that really matter.
