I Am New York- A Public Library Poetry Anthology
Event Details
From Brooklyn's street flair and funk and the "boogie-down" Bronx, from the shores of Staten Island and our fair Queens' exotic corners, from Manhattan's bright lights comes I Am New York, a collection of Big Apple poems written by almost 600 New Yorkers, young and old. Written during poetry-writing workshops in the city's three public library systems, spanning all five boroughs of New York City, from May to December 2012. I Am New York is a collection of some of the city's voices whispering to you from their local libraries.
- Audience: School Age (5-12 years)
