Bricks 4 Kidz: A Science and Lego Program (PAPER CRINKLER)
Event Details
Many everyday objects have gears, including bicycles, clocks and egg beaters. Students will learn how gears work by building a paper crinkler – a simple gadget that includes a “driver” gear and a “follower” gear. Students will discuss the relationship between torque (power) and speed in the use of gears. Vocabulary includes primary, energy, torque, ratio.
FOR AGES 6-8.
PREREGISTRATION IS REQUIRED!
ATTENDANCE AT ALL SESSIONS IS PREFERRED.
