MOMA Presents Understanding Abstraction: from Kandinsky to Pollock
Explore the development of non-representational art from The Museum of Modern Art's collection. From Vasily Kandinsky and Piet Mondrian to Jackson Pollock, learn how artists redefined expectations of how paintings looked and were made throughout the twentieth century. A specially trained Museum lecturer will engage participants through extensive verbal descriptions of the artwork.
