Wong Kar-Wai: Happy Together

Please join us on Wednesday, February 13 at 7 p.m. for Wong Kar-wai's Happy Togerther (1997, 97 min) in the first floor corner room of Mid-Manhattan Library.

This screening is part of the series Three Auteurs of World Cinema: Wong Kar-wai. All screenings are FREE and seating is first-come, first-served. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Happy Together is a 1997 Hong Kong film directed by Wong Kar-wai, starring Leslie Cheung and Tony Leung Chiu-Wai, which depicts a turbulent romance between two men. The English title is inspired by The Turtles' 1967 song, which is featured in the film and on the soundtrack. Happy Together was winner of Best Director at the 1997 Cannes Film Festival.
