Based on the 1994 book “Winterdance: The Fine Madness of Running the Iditarod”, this film centers on the reunion of a father and son during the famous 1180 mile Alaskan dogsled race. When Miami dentist Ted Brooks finds out that he has been named in a will he travels to Alaska during the race. He arrives wanting to claim his inheritance but dog sledding is in his genes and he is determined to follow in his famous father’s footsteps. Ted finds himself on a chaotic, unpredictable and hilarious ride through the harsh Alaskan countryside.
