DREAM/CAGE: A Performance Collage is a creation by John Sorensen's Jumble Shop Theater in celebration of John Cage's 100th Birthday. This program honors the serious playfulness of the great American composer/poet/dance collaborator/visual artist/philospher/mushroom collector, giving special attention to Cage's works in the 1940s and 1950s for prepared piano and voice; it includes the premiere of a Cage-based electro-acoustic aria performed by soprano Wonjung Kim and a new dance work by choreographer Minyoung Lee.

Featuring: Wonjung Kim, soprano; Minyoung Lee, Dance; Stephen Olsen, Prepared Piano; Trio Cage, Percussion; and the actors of the Jumble Shop Theater.
