Event Details

Children look at tools used by meteorologists to measure and make predictions about weather. Children explore the three key ingredients (air, water and temperature) that determine the Earth’s unique weather pattern and how meteorologists predict weather patterns by measuring each of these ingredients.  Children then make their own windsocks to measure wind speed. Presented by the Children’s Museum of Manhattan. For ages 5 to 12 years old. Limited to 25 participants.
