June 20, 2012

Please join us on Wednesday, June 20 at 7 p.m. for Edward G. Ulmer's Detour (1946, 67 min) on the first floor of the Mid-Manhattan Library.

Film Noir is part of Mystery Summer and a full schedule is available online at: All screenings are FREE and seating is first-come, first-served. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

"Detour is a movie so filled with imperfections that it would not earn the director a passing grade in film school...And yet it lives on, haunting and creepy, an embodiment of the guilty soul of film noir. No one who has seen it has easily forgotten it." —Roger Ebert,
