We love food because it tastes delicious.  In this session, we'll learn about the biology of taste--the how and why of food appreciation!  In many fascinating ways, our bodies are designed to help us to know how to select a healthy diet and how to control how much we eat; we will discuss how these mechanisms work and also sometimes fail. Food allergies are a growing problem; we'll learn about how allergies work and talk about ways to deal with them.
