"December - Central Park.", Digital ID 809412, New York Public LibraryJoin crafty librarian Jessica Pigza of the Rare Book Division and Crafternoon author Maura Madden for a free DIY day at the Library.  We'll be joined by special guest Brett Bara, author of Sewing in a Straight Line, and she'll show us how to stitch up a little felt bowl or a holiday ornament. And I'll select a variety of inspiring books from the Library's collections for browsing fun as well.

  • This is a FREE event, but reservations are welcome because seating is limited. To reserve your spot, please write to handmade@nypl.org with your name and the date of this event. 
  • Where: Stephen A. Schwarzman Building, Margaret Liebman Berger Forum (on the Second Floor, Room 227)
  • When: Saturday, December 17th, from 2:00 to 4:00pm (doors open at 1:30pm)
