Summer Reading 2011: The Paper Bag Players Whoop-Dee-Doo!

July 14, 2011
For all ages
Bank of America is the lead partner of The New York Public Library’s Summer Reading Program, which is also generously funded by HBO; New York Yankees Foundation; The Rona Jaffe Foundation; Target; Mary McConnell Bailey; Alyce W. Toonk; Federal Library Services and Technology Act funds, awarded to the New York State Library by the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services; Jean and Louis Dreyfus Foundation; American Girl; Anonymous; and the May and Samuel Rudin Family Foundation, Inc.

From the tiny paper bag dragon named Volcano and the game show called Whoop-dee-doo, to a little boy named Boom, this show will surprise and delight you! You'll go fishing with Ted, Kevin, and a Sea Monster; help Laura convince her parents to let her keep her new pet paper poodle; and kick up your heels to the Paper Bag Boogie. An electric piano underscores all the action, featuring amazing new music and songs. Presented by the Paper Bag Players. For ages 3 to 9.

This event will take place in the Celeste Bartos Forum.
