Elizabeth Bram - Echoes, Rainbows and Dreams

ECHOS, RAINBOWS AND DREAMS is an exhibit of ten of Elizabeth Bram’s paintings. The artwork is bursting with color and life and is displayed within the intimate environment of the New York Public Library’s Mulberry Street Branch (10 Jersey Street, one flight down in the children’s room). Ms. Bram’s published children’s books will also be on display. Elizabeth Bram has painted all her life in her own unique, colorful, stream-ofconsciousness way. She started as a child drawing on the walls of her family’s house and on her parents’ books. She once created a collage on the driveway of the house using the ingredients for dinner that night. With Ms. Bram’s freedom to be creative fully supported at home, she went on to develop her own style of art which she calls “art as meditation.” She has independently toured her paintings in Europe, Canada and all across the United States. She translated the titles of her works into French for a show at La Maison de La Ville in Québec and had a solo museum show at the Sun Cities Museum of Art in Arizona. Ms. Bram is also a published author of nine children’s books and has a Master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapy. She enjoys helping people resolve creative blocks using somatic techniques and by having them talk to their artwork.
