Literacy Connection

Literacy Connection is a FREE education program for young adults dedicated to improving their reading, writing, and math skills.

Literacy Connection includes:

  • Pre-High School Equivalency (formerly GED) classroom instruction Monday through Thursday
  • A stipend through participation in a Service Learning project (contingent upon regular class attendance)
  • Work readiness and career exploration workshops
  • Social support (child care, money management, legal aid)
  • Computer-assisted instruction

Participants must be between 16-24 years old, not employed, and not attending school.
