Fireflies in a Jar
Did you know that there are animals on earth that create and emit their own light? This is called bioluminescence. Did you know that a firefly is a beetle related to the glowworm? We won’t be catching fireflies but we can make our own jar of fireflies. Join us for a fun afternoon of bugs and glow! For Children and families. Limited to 15 participants Parent or Caregiver assistance is needed. All Public Library Programs are free of charge.

Get Ready for School!
An enhanced story time for children ages 3 and 4 years old, where children will also participate in activites similar to what will occur in school. This program will help to build fine motor skills and social skills to help when starting kindergarten. Parents or guardians will remain at the program, but child should participate in activites on their own to gain independence need for school. Ages 3 and 4 years old only!
