This event will take place in person at the Van Cortlandt Library. Join us in the children's room for an afternoon of laughter, fun, and friendly competition at our family game day. Play classic board games like Connect 4, Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders, and more.

Kick back and relax in the programming room of the Van Cortlandt branch at 4:00 pm, where we'll be playing games like Wii Sports and Mario Kart! Games will be on rotation based on popular demand. Library staff will provide guidance to patrons who have never played on the Wii before to help them get acquainted with motion-sensor technology and gyroscopic control of the game. All ages are welcome to this program!

Join us for an afternoon of fun and building! Come build as a team or work on your own creation. We'll provide the LEGO! For ages 5 and up.

This event will take place in person at the Van Cortlandt branch. Open STEAM Lab is designed for children 6-12 years old to explore and discover the wonders of STEAM in a fun and interactive way. Sessions will focus on various methods for children to engage in hands-on activities that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking. Join us in becoming lifelong learners. All materials will be provided.
