This program will take place in person at the Soundview Library on the Teen Floor. While recycling breaks down old items to create something new, upcycling makes something new from an existing object in its current state. We challenge our Teens to create something unique and wonderful from preexisting items like magazines, plastic water bottles, tin cans, egg cartons, and more. All supplies will be provided.

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Soundview Library will have an informational booth throughout the day and will have a safe space for anyone interested in reflecting on one's own mental health and chatting about ways that we can improve it. There'll be self-reflection time, sharing time, and quiet time (you don't have to disclose anything you aren't comfortable with). Anyone is welcome! There's a 15 minute grace period.
