Interested in approaching different genres of creative writing as well as workshopping your creative work? This is the program for you! Join us this year at the Soundview Library virtually or in-person as we learn and craft our own pieces of writing within various creative genres. We’ll gather together every two weeks to learn the building blocks and workshop our writing. This month's focus is A Story in Pictures for National Photography Month. In observance of Jewish-American Heritage Month, the Soundview Library will be screening the popular fantastical film, with the addition of a pizza party. In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Soundview Library will have an informational booth throughout the day and will have a safe space for anyone interested in reflecting on one's own mental health and chatting about ways that we can improve it. There'll be self-reflection time, sharing time, and quiet time (you don't have to disclose anything you aren't comfortable with). Anyone is welcome! There's a 15 minute grace period.
