Stay Well for Seniors
Join us for a fun exercise class for all ability levels! Senior volunteers trained by staff from the Health Promotion Services unit of NYC's Department for the Aging will lead participants in a well-balanced series of exercises for all ability levels. No special clothing or equipment is necessary. Those participating in the exercises must sign an activity release form.

Writing Workshop with Ellen Aug Lytle
Anyone interested in any type of writing is invited to participate. Each student is required to bring only a pen and pad. We do "free writing" exercises in class. These warm-ups help to loosen all the debris we accumulate, sometimes for decades. Imagination is also coaxed and brought out. This event is funded in part by Poets & Writers with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.

Diabetes Health Connect Workshop
Are you living with diabetes? Join us for a six-week workshop series to learn how to manage an active and fulfilling life with diabetes. Workshop conducted by Community Health Action of Staten Island. Participants will receieve free MetroCards for each class they attend. Participants who attend four classes will receive a $20 gift card. Workshops are designed for diabetics and pre-diabetics. This is a high-energy, interactive musical puppet variety show perfect for babies 0 month to 6 years old with parent/caregiver. We’ll tell stories, sing songs, and play games with lots of tactile props (musical instruments, rainbow scarves, parachute, etc.). And, of course, there will be lots and lots of meet-and-greets with new puppet friends. This show is highly interactive – the kids will be just as much part of it as the puppets!
