Summer at the Library
Encounter several raptor species (hawks, owls, etc.) up close as a New Canaan Nature Center naturalist explores the adaptations, behaviors, ecological importance, and natural history of these amazing avians. Participants will get to touch and feel real raptor artifacts such as talons, skulls, and feathers as they gain a greater appreciation for these magnificent flyers. As an added bonus, meet a furry friend or two, as we discuss what makes these birds such amazing hunters. Recommended for ages…
