Stop by Eastchester Library where we will be making our own creations out of clay! This is your chance to create a figurine, character, or anything else you come up with. All materials will be provided; maximum of six participants. This program is for adults 19+.

Come meet LuxMed Urgent Care at Eastchester Library! LuxMed will discuss community health and safety, the role of urgent cares, how to become a medical professional, and simple medical practices like checking a pulse and applying a bandage. Children will have the opportunity to try out their new skills on giveaway stuffed animals! This program is geared towards children 6 - 12 and children under the age of 6 with caregiver support.

We will be discussing all the ways in which we can manage our time, develop our stress management skills, and learn some tips and tricks that everyone can use to lead a more calm life! Once upon a wag, there was a therapy dog named Orry. She was wishing and wishing for a child to read her a story. Make Orry's wish come true! NYPL, Reading Education Assistance Dogs®, and New York Therapy Animals present R.E.A.D. with a Therapy Dog! Children ages 6-12 can sign up to read to Orry, a specially trained service dog. Registration is required. Please call the branch or see the front desk for more information.
