This is the first instalment of BLC's newest program, Books > Movies! Join us each month as we read and discuss a book and then watch the movie. For November, we will be reading the book Divergent. The Book Discussion will take place on Saturday, November 4th at 10am. We will then screen the movie on Saturday, November 25th.

Join us for a movie screening of the film Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk. Based on the Novel by Ben Fountain. Nineteen-year-old Billy Lynn is brought home for a victory tour after a harrowing Iraq battle. Through flashbacks the film shows what really happened to his squad, contrasting the realities of war with America's perceptions. Rated R Running Time: 113 minutes
